Is my dog too old to train?
We do offer unlimited refreshers although the goal is to equip you with the skills to handle issues that may arise.
Where are training sessions located?
Typically, our training programs all begin in your home. Depending on the program depends on if and when sessions are transitioned to outside/public.
What type of vaccinations does my dog need before training?
We require all dogs enrolled in our training programs to have a Rabies vaccine. If your dog enrolls in a board and train program we require age appropriate DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies.
Do I get updates throughout my board and train program?
Yes! We provide several text and photo updates.
What breed of dogs do you train?
Any and every breed!
When should I start training my puppy?
Training should begin the day you bring your puppy home. However, Best Pals starts puppy training around 10 weeks of age.
How long does training take?
In a generalized answer, you're always going to be training your dog. However, your time spent with Best Pals averages 2-3 months.
Do you offer group classes?
Yes! You get access to group classes when purchasing certain programs.
Where will my dog stay during a board and train?
Best Pals has a climate controlled facility located on our trainer’s property.
What tools will I need to have for my training sessions?
Training tools are included in each individual program excluding; leash, treats, or treat pouch.
